The Jonathan Alder Local School District is proud to announce the launch of a new district-wide website.

The district, in collaboration with Apptegy, a company that assists with K12 school identity, and powered by their application, Thrillshare, has launched a brand new site. JA will also have a new mobile app, called JA Local. The goal for this move is to continue to elevate the effectiveness of JA communication with members of our community.

A survey was conducted with district families in the winter months in regards to our old site and what improvements they would like to see. We have taken that information and placed quick, call-to-action buttons near the top of the district and school-specific webpages for the most visited areas. Also, our new site provides families and other organizations easier access to contact information of our JA staff.

Additionally, viewers will find ease of access to upcoming events, press releases, and our new “Live Feed” internal social channel, which are all displayed on the homepage for the district and each building. In terms of events, each school page will have its own dedicated calendar, while the district-level calendar will include district-wide events, such as Board of Education meetings, professional development days, and No School days, as well as the option to add in specific schools to your preference.

In terms of the mobile app, more information will be made available closer to the start of the 2023-24 school year. The app is live now and can be downloaded. Items such as Events, News, Live Feed, and Staff are available now, with additional material to be added and updated as we approach the start of the new school year.

For now, enjoy our new website. Questions about navigation or notice of missing information that may have been lost in the transition of sites, can be directed to Tyler Jester, district communications coordinator.
