MES students at curriculum night

Monroe Elementary recently hosted a star-studded Curriculum Night with the theme “Roll Out the Red Carpet”, bringing the magic of movies to life for our students and families! It was an incredible evening filled with fun, learning, and community spirit. We were thrilled to see so many Monroe families in attendance! We had 417 people that attended the event with 156 of those in attendance being Monroe students.

The night featured a variety of engaging activities, including:

  • Title 1 Parent Meeting – Sharing valuable resources and information.

  • Pizza Dinner – A delicious way to kick off the event!

  • Balloon-Powered Popcorn Car STEM Activity – Hands-on fun with science and engineering.

  • Movie Estimation Candy Game – A sweet challenge for all ages.

  • Make Your Own Movie – Creativity in action!

  • Literacy Games – “Popcorn Words” and “Alphabet Stars” kept reading exciting.

  • Book Fair – Encouraging a love for reading with great book selections.

It was truly impressive to see the level of participation from our Monroe families. Thank you to everyone who attended and to our dedicated staff for making this event a success!
