The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) announced nominees for its 2025 Marquee Awards. Jonathan Alder High School received several nominations for its production of "Hadestown: Teen Edition" and will be participating in the Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Ohio Theatre in downtown Columbus.
This is based on the 26 participating schools. Because of the nominations for Best Musical, JAHS will be performing an entire song from Hadestown for all of the participants at the event, along with having six individual students participating in the ensemble.
Additionally, four actors have moved on to the semi-finals this Saturday at the Ohio Theatre for Best Actor/Actress. The announcement for the finalists is scheduled for Monday, April 14, 2025.
