On Saturday, September 21st the JAHS Marching Band performed at the Pickerington North Band Festival. This was held as a competition and, due to the style of marching we have at JAHS, we were unable to compete; however, the students did perform as an exhibition performance near the end of the competition.
Despite being ineligible to compete, our students were awarded the Esprit de Corps Award for the performance with the most pride, spirit, and energy out of the 17 Bands that performed on Saturday. This was an exceptional experience and we plan to collaborate with Pickerington North High School in the future, providing the schedule allows.
