Jonathan Alder Junior High is pleased to co-host an important event for ALL Jonathan Alder parents: Tech Savvy Parenting: Raising Kids in a Digital Age, an evening focused on the challenges and risks facing students in today’s digital world.
Topics will include social media use, digital addiction, and online safety, including how to protect children from exploitation and harmful internet content.
Our featured speaker is Emily Czerniejewski, an Assistant United States Attorney with the Southern District of Ohio. Emily specializes in prosecuting cases involving child exploitation and human trafficking. She brings nearly a decade of experience as a prosecutor in Chicago, where she focused on crimes against children, and has taught law as an adjunct professor at DePaul University. Now based in Dublin, Ohio, Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping families stay informed and empowered in an increasingly digital world.
This event is for parents and guardians only. Due to the sensitive content of the presentation, students and younger siblings should not attend.
