We're thrilled to share the exciting journey of our 5th-grade students who recently embarked on a remarkable learning experience at Junior Achievement's BizTown! Leading up to this adventure, students dove into a comprehensive curriculum in their social studies classes. They honed their skills in resume writing, explored various job descriptions, and even participated in the democratic process by electing a mayor for BizTown.
During their visit to BizTown, our young leaders put their learning into action. They took on roles in simulated businesses, managing tasks like writing checks, handling finances, and providing excellent customer service. Each student embraced the responsibilities of their assigned jobs, experiencing firsthand the dynamics of a vibrant community at work.
This hands-on excursion not only enriched their understanding of economics and civic engagement but also fostered invaluable teamwork and problem-solving skills. We're immensely proud of their enthusiasm and adaptability throughout this educational journey.
