Second-grade students recently completed an engaging project on famous people, based on their personal interests, from Simone Biles to George Washington! Each student researched their chosen individual, learning about their life, accomplishments, and impact on history. They then wrote detailed biographies, organizing key facts into a well-structured narrative.
To celebrate their hard work, the students participated in a biography walk, where they visited different classrooms, read each other’s biographies, and answered specific questions to deepen their understanding. This interactive experience not only strengthened their research and writing skills but also fostered curiosity and collaboration among classmates.
