The May 2024 Regular Board of Education meeting served as a celebration of the 2023-24 school year. Superintendent Dr. James Miller presented an extensive list, highlighting the excellent work done this school year by students, teachers, administrators and staff. Additionally, Jonathan Alder High School teachers, Mr. Snedeker and Mr. Kitchen were recognized. Snedeker was received the staff "Excellence in Action" recognition award, while Mr. Kitchen was celebrated and then presented information about JAHS Purple Star Recognition from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Mrs. Hall and students presented a recent project which included rocket models. Students explained the construction and launch process with Board members, while displaying several of the created projects.
Treasurer Mr. Mark Ingles gave a presentation on the five-year forecast, which was later approved by the Board during the meeting.
