Five Jonathan Alder High School students were celebrated on Tuesday, May 7, for their future commitment to our nation's military. After becoming a Purple Star-designated school in April 2024, JAHS teachers and military family resource liaisons, Rick Kitchen and Chris Roberts, started this new endeavor, where students will be recognized and celebrated for choosing to serve their country. With local military representatives, families and friends, as well as Jonathan Alder staff and administrators in attendance, each student had a bio of information read aloud about them before signing their certificate. The students recognized were Ryan Bailey, Isaac Banks, Connor Boggs, Wyatt Hunt and James Ratliff.
