During a special meeting on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Jonathan Alder Board of Education held a first reading for a select number of district policy revisions.
NEOLA provides two policy recommendation updates annually for revisions based on legal updates both locally and nationally. NEOLA works in collaboration with the district on any updated language, additions or retractions from our current policies, which then requires the Board approval for adoption.
The Board will hold a second reading of the policies at the May 13, 2024 regular meeting. At that time the Board can choose to adopt, edit, table or reject a policy.
