The April 2024 Regular Board of Education meeting featured several presentations. Monroe Elementary students, along with Mrs. Bryce Swartz, presented on the IMSE Reading program. Additionally, Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Carla Quick, presented on Literacy Adoption programs, and High School Athletic Director, Mr. Scott Reule, gave an update on Winter Athletic Success and invited state-level performers and award winners.
Monroe Elementary Secretary, Cindy Vaughn, was surprised at the meeting with the Excellence in Action Staff Recognition award. The meeting also included the second reading and approval of the Jonathan Alder High School Course Handbook, as well as the first reading of a new district-wide Student Handbook for 2024-25.
